Facts

Defendant Olsen was employed as a truck driver at an army base. While driving on duty, she became drowsy and fell asleep. Her truck jumped the curb and killed a child on the sidewalk. A jury found her guilty of involuntary manslaughter. The defendant appeals on the basis that there was no showing of criminal negligence.
