Stark v. Flemming

283 F.2d 410 (9th Cir. 1960)

Facts

Stark (P) placed her assets, a farm and duplex home, in a newly organized corporation drawing $400 per month as a salary allegedly to qualify her in a short time for social security payments. The Secretary of Health, Education, and Welfare found the corporation to be a sham in denying her benefits. The District Court agreed. P appealed.
