Southern Methodist University Association Of Women Law Students v. Wynne And Jaffe

599 F.2d 707 (5th Cir. 1979)

Ps launched a sex discrimination lawsuit against two Dallas law firms (Ds) for sex discrimination in the hiring of summer law clerks. The suit named four female attorneys as plaintiffs but labeled them A-D as they did not want to reveal their identities. D initiated discovery and demanded to know who the four secret plaintiffs were. The trial court ordered the identities revealed, and P appealed.
