Silva v. Dick's Sporting Goods, Inc.

2015 WL 1275840 (2015)

Facts

P brought suit under the Family Medical Leave Act against D. D asked a copy of the contents of P's accounts on any social media website, including Facebook. P objected to the requests as overly broad, unduly burdensome, and outside the scope of this matter. P initially produced a redacted version of his Facebook contents, and then supplemented this production with additional redacted Facebook communications. Pursuant to Rule 37 D has moved to compel P to produce a non-redacted complete copy of Plaintiff's 2,254 pages of Facebook messages.
