Facts

Ps were owners of apartments that were subject to rent stabilization that only applied to specific apartments used to benefit Lenox Hill Hospital. The lower courts upheld the statute, and this appeal resulted. The statute allowed the renewal rights under rent stabilization when the apartments were rented by a nonprofit hospital for the subletting to its employees.
