Facts

Kent (D) was arrested for entering a woman's apartment and raping her. D was 16 years old. D's attorney filed motions for a hearing on the question of jurisdiction. The juvenile court judge ignored these motions and simply transferred the case to the adult authority. Kent (D) appealed this action.
