Facts

Steve Hoye, former husband of Laura Hoye (P), developed a business and social relationship with Thelma York in 1986. Steve moved from the marital residence and filed a divorce action against P. P then filed a civil complaint against Thelma York (D) alleging tortious interference with the Hoye marriage. A divorce decree was entered, and the Circuit Court denied D's pretrial motion for a summary judgment. D appealed.
