Hamer v. United States

259 F.2d 274 (9th Cir. 1958)

Facts

Hamer (D) was convicted for fraudulently importing narcotic drugs and facilitating the sale thereof. D was convicted but appealed based on the fact that she was denied a list of names and addresses of prospective jurors in advance of trial, that her counsel was not permitted to conduct voir dire examination, and that the prosecutor used a jury book.
