Green v. Greenbelt Homes, Inc.

194 A.2d 273 (1963)

Facts

Green entered into an agreement with Greenbelt for a mutual ownership contract. Green occupied the premises for two years when as a result of complaints from other occupants of the housing development the corporation board notified her of termination of the mutual ownership contract. Green had violated the contract in that an adult man who was not related by blood or marriage was living with her and that she failed to provide sanitary care for her pets and that she had permitted her teenage daughter to give noisy, unchaperoned parties during the day and night. Green appealed the board decision, but the contract was terminated by a majority of members. Green refused to vacate or to sell her perpetual use membership.
