Davis v. Commonwealth

132 Va 521, 110 S.E. 356 (1922)

Facts

Davis (D) entered the house of E. P. Fowlkes and took $412.50 from the room of Dolly Wingfield. D was a very close friend of both E.P. and Wingfield and D had the key to the house with the consent of both of them. They had told her that she could enter the house at any time. D was convicted of burglary. D appealed; the evidence did not support the verdict.
