Latin. Things whose value depends on the class of things to which they belong. Things which perform the office, or supply the places of others. Fungibles, which alone can form the subject of a contract of mutuum. This class includes all things which may be estimated generically, by weight, number, or measure. See Pondere, numero, &c.
