Grady and Jankowski were convicted of conspiracy to export firearms to Northern Ireland. Jankowski, a licensed firearms dealer, made false entries in his records regarding ten rifles, which were then illegally exported by Grady. The records of an Irish police agency, which recorded the serial numbers of the rifles and accounted for their disposition, were admitted at trial for the purpose of showing that the rifles were found in Ireland on dates subsequent to their purchase. D appeal their convictions on the grounds that these reports were erroneously admitted and should have been excluded under Fed. R. Evid. 803(8)(B).
