Facts
W filed for divorce. In her pleadings, she stated that their current residence was the separate property of H. The court agreed with W and held that the house belonged to H but that W was given a life estate in it. It gave W 'the right to remain in and to continue to reside and enjoy possession of the premises she now occupies at 1609 East 110th Street, Los Angeles along with $12.50 per month in alimony. H appealed.
