Facts

All the Ds were charged with possession of heroin and the arresting officers have testified that glassine envelopes containing narcotics were dropped on the ground as Ds were approached by police. Ds have contended that the police testimony in these types of cases in untrustworthy and the product of fabrication and hence the People should bear the burden of proving admissibility and depart from the standard that makes Ds show inadmissibility.
