Facts

Parker (P) sued Hoefer (D) for alienation of affection in Vermont. P was awarded a judgment. P then sought to enforce the judgment in New York. D contended that since New York did not recognize a cause of action for alienation of affection, the judgment could not be enforced. The trial court issued an order enforcing the judgment. D appealed.
