In 1974, Testator was unmarried, and executed a will in favor of his daughter (D) and grandson. He expressly disinherited all other persons. Testator remarried in 1986 but did not make any changes to his will. Testator's wife (P) filed for a determination of entitlement to estate distribution as an omitted surviving spouse. The petition was denied, and P appealed. While the appeal was pending, P died, and the executor of her estate was substituted as petitioner.
