n. The act of one who wakens; esp., the act of ceasing to sleep; an awakening.
(Scots Law) An action is said to sleep when it lies over, not insisted on for a year, in which case it is suspended. The revival of an action in which no steps have been taken for at least a year and a day. With us a revival is by scire facias.
