Facts

White (D) was charged with two murders committed on the same day. The evidence showed that the jury could have found that D could not control his conduct but was able to tell right from wrong. D offered an instruction on the ALI test. The trial court used the M'Naghten test for right and wrong. D was convicted. D appealed.
